Treehouse
Your head on my shoulder,
Your hair in the wind.
Your heart burned a hole,
While stars cast red shadows within.
They filled it with warmth,
Its fire stays glowing,
Those flames in their hearth,
I still hear them flowing.
All the trees around us,
The wood remains unrotten,
Though their rust started showing,
They’ll stay unforgotten.
You’ll stay with them, too,
It all belongs to you.
