This is 18
18 is when you’re expected to act like an adult
Yet you’re still treated like a kid
18 is when you have no idea what you’re doing
But you’re expected to have your life together
18 is when you’re a legal adult
But your parents still pull the whole “my house my rules”
18 is when you’ve spent your whole life
getting ready for what?
You don’t know how to buy a house
You don’t know how to do your taxes
You don’t know how to get insurance
But you’re kicked out and supposed to be ready to take on life
