Not often are you noticed

in the middle of a crowd

But though your mouth is silent,

your thoughts are very loud.

You do not seek the busy lights,

you seek the peaceful hill.

Less beauty in the chaos,

more beauty in the still.

My grandfather is such a quiet soul. He takes the time to simply obseve and has taught me that moments of silence are moments to be cherished. This poem is for him.
