It all started so fast
Panic in the air
Voices trembling with terror
Everyone dropped
Time stood still
Silent now
They were coming closer
Footsteps right outside
The pause of silence
I hear nothing
Then it came quick
The banging rang in my ears
The feeling of warm tears
Set my body into a vegetative state
Today will be the day I might see the last.
They opened the door,
Everyone froze.
