oxygen
An oxygen tank sat there.
Pumping air into my lungs
as I begin to plummet into my mind.
With every breath a new
thought appears.
Never ending like the air.
It’s funny to think,
the same thing that's keeping me alive
is also killing me.

Death was my inspiration for this. It just sometimes seems funny to me that people need the thing that is killing them in the long run. The irony of it catches me off guard and not too many people notice it. I made this sweet and short because that's how life can be for alot of people across the world.
