Love voyage
I fell in love with you gracefully,
As if fourteen could’ve been us easily,
Sought out the light in you immediately
But crashed our ship to feel formality
In the beginning our ship sailed upon
The salty ocean that was from before.
You touched me and suddenly I
Was no longer but but lilac sky.
Repeating to myself fourteen was so special
Till I found you with so much extra.
You claimed you were just like me,
But yet our sea drained so drastically.
One by one we grew apart slowly
And when I gave up you pushed.
Gave me confidence that we could survive
So I believed we had just arrived.
Your blinding company became my convincing comfort
That one day we’ll never be apart
I gave you all of me willingly,
You took me by my hand calmfully.
You looked at me but I gazed
Into your sweet firy eyes, I gasped;
Then felt ashamed my embraced second nature
Was no longer looked at as white.
And my vision went grey, what I
Had thought was squares were really spirals
Reluctantly you thought; hard without hesitation and
With desire our 7x2 wasn’t really left handed.

This piece was inspired by relationships and just romance and how things may not always go how you expected it to be. The poem is a male and females relationship, Its more of an analogy to love and my connection I chose was a ship. Throught the poem it enhances certain details and symbols. The boy and girl in the end were described as numbers, hes 7 and she's 2 and their love is 14.
