Stain Glass Windows
Eyes
They are the windows to our soul
But Maybe they are stain glass windows
Delicate,
Beautiful,
Tinted with the colors of emotions,
And are easily broken,
With one vulgar look they can be cracked causing a tear to seep through
Making me see blue,
But a crack is easily repaired,
With one word it can be shattered and a whole ocean of tears can flow out,
A shattered window takes days to fix
But our eyes are not normal windows they are stained glass windows
And it can take years to recreate the delicacy and beauty of a stained glass window.
With one rude action
I see red,
Causing the stain glass windows to narrow and vibrate with rage
Making the windows crack
The crack spreads ,Making a spider web in the beautiful, delicate design
Something that will take a long time to recreate.
When I look at my family and friends,
I see yellow, the color of joy,
This strengthens the stain glass window,
Making it robust,
This happiness will fix all the cracks and chips in these
Beautiful,
Delicate,
Ravashing,
Alluring,
Stain glass windows that are our eyes.
