"I have been using poetry to heal my heart and now I'm made out of poetry"- By:Caroline

You say I’m so hard to read
But I just don’t want you to read me,
I want you to analyse me.

I want you to find the literary element inside my heart
And that one word you won’t understand no matter how many times you try reading my sentence.
I want you to underline what you love the most;
What you find interesting.

You say I’m so hard to read
But remember that time we were naked?, but not that type of naked
But the type that I let all my periods and commas out and I’m a total mess.
But somehow you found a way to try to understand my message.
I was happy to see your fervent love for me.

But now, you don’t try anymore,
I hand you a dictionary, vocabs words and nothing,
You would just stand there like a... like a... like a...
I don’t know!, you just stand there and look at me like I’m so complicated.

You say I’m so hard to read,
But I am just a poem, I just want you have your own perspective,
And love it because I am your poem, I was written for you.

I’m not that hard to read, you just don’t wanna show emotions anymore,
And tell me what you think of me….

Are you gonna let me become someone else’s poem?
