Boy, I wish I could have taught you
The things you dad didn’t.
But it seems that death
Dealt me the same fate
If only I could have lived
Just a little bit longer.
I might have been able to see
You grow a little bit taller
But as it seems,
I can no longer guide you.
If only I could have taught you
To be better than you father.
