A masterpiece of a sunset is painted in the sky at the end of each day,
No matter if it rained or if it was sunny.
The rain stops eventually,
Whether it sprinkled or it downpoured.

I’ve realized the same of the struggles in my life.
No matter how big or how small,
I’ve come back from them stronger.
And I’ve made something out of it.

Things like this aren’t easy.
But even after winter,
The flowers do their best,
They try to grow and bloom.

At the end of the day,
As I look at the sunset, shining in the sky or reflecting in a puddle,
I can feel if I’ve tried or not,
If I’ve put in the effort or not.

Somedays you accomplish everything you want,
Other days, there are setbacks,
But there are more days.
After that, there are more chapters.

Your life doesn’t start and stop.
You aren’t born and then you die.
Our lives are stories,
And it doesn’t stop after one book.

There are sequels, and prequels, and everything inbetween.
You get chances to start over,
You grow as a character,
And you find new paths you can take. 

It might seem like you are going through the motions,
Day after day, week after week.
But you are just in the rising action.
Things are about to pick up.

There will be happy endings,
There will also be the not so happy ones too.
But an end is never the end,
Life keeps going.

You are in a unique place as the author and main character.
You can choose the mood of your story,
And you can write yourself the perfect plot line.
