What is crawling up my throat?
From my feet through my stomach
In my chest
There is something crawling up my throat.

Trying to reach the roof of my mouth,
It feels empty
It is powerful
There is something crawling up my throat.

I cannot find what it is
It only makes me want to scream,
It only wants to come out;
It only wants to be seen.

There is something crawling up my throat.

I want it gone,
I want it out.
But there is no way out but down,
And that
Is where i break.

I break down.
To my faults, to my insecurities.
I fall to the level of panic,
Where I can calm,
Where I can then realize

There is nothing crawling in my throat
In my mind,
In my body.
There is nothing within me.
There is nothing in my throat.
