I know you try to be perfect love.
But I know you aren’t
And that’s okay.
It’s okay that I see you, for you
Because I still love you, no matter what.
If I see that you haven’t cleaned
The mess on your couch,
That’s okay.
I promise you, the mess on mine
Is bigger.
If I see that you didn’t
Wear makeup today,
That’s okay
Because I never do.
It’s okay if we see
Each other for who we really are
Because we love each other
Anyway.
