English, the simplest subject
And yet the hardest to do.
They ask you to write,
and you do just that.
They tell you to read,
And so you read.
It’s just that simple,
Just read and write.
Then why is it so hard,
To do just that.
They give you a subject,
You pick your own book,
But the essay’s,
The essays,
hurt you the most.
If you don’t get it done,
If you forget to turn it in.
Your grades gonna drop,
And you won’t forget it.
