The Strength of the Tide
Over time, you have tried,
To wear me away
Like a rising tide.
And yet, here I am
Still with my own groove,
Because though water hits rocks
It will one day wear them smooth.
Nothing can be said, heard, or done,
That could wish to challenge me.
For I have grown wings like a butterfly,
And a stinger like a bee.
