i fall in love with the wrong people
people i've never even met

there's so many relationships
sometimes it seems like too many

but i crave the affection and the love
because i'm convinced everyone will leave
so excuse me for getting attached
for making the same mistake over and over
for loving people who'll only use me

i'm sorry that i'm so pessimistic
hard to believe that someone likes me
let alone love me

so yes
