Lost--
I took my sunglasses off,
staring at the light.
A whole new perspective,
broken from shadows.
I tried to see separately--
squinting held me back.
There, something beautiful,
still unable to grasp.
Always within reach,
but too scared to stretch.
I felt myself blocking the sun
trying to peek through.
I put my sunglasses back on,
avoiding the distance.
