We Are One
Red, the blood we have shed, for being ourselves.
Orange, the fires people have used to bring us down.
Yellow, the sun that we never get to see while we are in hiding.
Green, the grass the we don’t get to walk on without getting our faces shoved into it.
Blue, the tears that have fallen from not getting to be who we are.
Purple, the bruises we get for being different.
Yes, we are still here.
