My best friend,
Is my tree,
Rooted in the ground,
My rock,
Standing tall,
Arms branched to the sky,
Makes me jealous,
That I'm not the same.

The trunk is my wall,
Leaning against it,
At any time I please,
But soon the leaves start,
To change, fall,
And are forgotten.

My tree shades me,
In the darkness,
Of its depression,
For my tree is alone,
Until I am there.

Until my tree is gone,
Until it dies,
And brings new life,
My tree will still loom,
Over me,
Giving me more support,
Than anyone ever could.
