Leaving
  You know that feeling?
When you’ve grown up with certain people
  They’re your best friends
  Although you’ll never say it
You’ve fought with them the most
And stuck up for them time and time again
You’ve been with each other through thick and thin
  Done some dumb stuff together
Some days when you just want to hit them
Other days where you just want to hug them
  And then you realize
That soon they’ll be leaving you behind
You’ll only see them once or twice a year
Something's coming that you hoped would never come
Yet you always knew it would
And you do what you promised yourself not to do
When the lights are out and you lay in your bed
  You silently cry
Because your sibling is leaving for college.
