My blue Adidas spikes
They were horrible
Too big
Wrong spike plate
Lose
No grip on to the track
Let I still never come to a meet without them
They represent hard work
Mistakes
Success
Failure
In those spikes are my blood,sweat, and tears
In those spikes I turn a hobby into a lifestyle
and a dream into a reality
So when I hold those spikes
I get a little spark
A small bolt of electricity
Reminding me where I began
The work that I've put in, to change
And most importantly
Failure is not an option!
