i always thought falling in love
would be
exhilarating
full of adrenaline
grasping at you
like youre all i have
and sometimes
it is like that
but most of the time its softer
quieter
i look at you
and the flower petals
inside my heart
bloom
you look like happiness
and light
you look like home
