We Are All Movie Stars
The galaxy is a movie,
And we are its stars,
But we never considered
Who could be watching.
Is it God?
Maybe.
Santa Claus?
Probably not.
What I think
Is that there is an alien out there somewhere
Who sits through every war,
Every romance,
Every underdog,
Every single one of humanity’s stories,
With a bag of popcorn
And a photo of their favorite human
Hoping to someday meet them,
Get their autograph,
And tell them how much they love them.

After watching the Powers of Ten video from the Museum of Science and Industry, I was inspired by the way the galaxy seemed like a movie.
