Grass so Green,
Sky so Blue,
There is nothing I would rather do.
Than play a round of golf, or two
When I get on the tee box
I take my stance
In front of the ball
I swing nice and easy
I don’t give it my all
When I take my swing
I listen for the metallic ting
My club goes through
As the ball goes to
The fairway down the hole.
And as it lands
The ground absorbs
Most of the power the ball did hold
As it rolls across the ground
My heart starts to pound
As i’m in position
To make an easy par
Because my drive went so straight and far
My next shot shouldn’t be tough
For once i’m not in the rough
I arrive at my ball
Where it sits tall
Laying on the grass
I see what hazards lie near
And think how to hit it from here
I make up my mind
And swing through the ball
The loft is high through the air
And smacks the green so hard it leaves a tear
It rolls in my range of a single putt
I approach the ball
And give it a push
The ball rolls over the green
And into the cup it falls
The par four conquered in three
Shows what my potential could be.

I play golf for my high school and think that is relaxing. I also like taking in the scenes of the course and nature around.
