dumpster diving
When I think of homeless or a homeless person my mind immediately thinks of a person who lives on the streets. A person who has no roof over their head. Or at least paying for a roof over their head. When you see homeless people they are usually on the streets. The most common place to find a homeless person near a garbage can or the dump. Reason being is because it is easy access to find food. May not be the best but it's still food. Also when I think of homeless I think of a homeless person I think of a nasty, old, smelly person. Sometimes druggies. They are people who do not have money and can't pay for a home and are forced to live on the streets. Some can't even pay for clothes. They are people who weren't set up for failure but put themselves in bad situations. Also when I think of homeless person I think of a person with a beard.
Overall this story did not change my mind or thoughts about a homeless person. He went to the U of Texas. But hit rock bottom and he dives into trash cans and wants food. It is a sad story but he did it to himself. And this does not change my mind of a homeless person. It shows that homeless people live and eat out of a dumpster.
