A game of Chess
Lost in the darkness of the sky
Is my heart high?
Can you see it?
We could be it.
Can you fix what’s been broken?
Or carve the stone of my heart
Only to find silence.
Eyes like sirens
They pierce me like a sword slicing through flesh.
Do you like what you see?
Looking through me?
Is any of this real?
Or is it just a game of chess
Within my mind?
Could you be the start?
Of our existence.
Or is the distance of our love
Too much to handle?
We’re so close
But yet
So far away.

Never seeing the one you love, but you know its real. You begin to doubt yourself but yet you know you can make it, to see them again.
