The Predator
Have you ever seen a thunderstorm that comes with black clouds?
Being assaulted feels like you’re being covered by a shroud.
Dark and loud, fierce and strong
The predator comes like a thunderstorm.
He doesn’t realize what he has done to her,
Like a lightning, he just killed a spur.
Trying to be perfect, she covers up her subtle flaws,
Standing in front of the mirror, she shivers and collides her jaws.
He crept in silence, preying upon
the innocence that seeks the dawn
But behind he left the memories black
by painful streaks of years gone back.
All she has to do is feel stronger than ever before,
put the night behind and open a new door.
For after every thunderstorm in the yore,
there will be a rainbow which everyone will adore.
All she has to do is be strong,
no one is here for a scary drift.
All she has to do is move on,
for she is a child, one of God’s gift.
