Confused and Irritated
Jealous and somewhat angry
Is how I remember our first encounter
Mom and dad overcompensated
Grandma and Grandpa over exaggerated
Our bonding, too new to matter
Your existence, too irrelevant
For me to care
At first, getting a new brother was not only
Unnecessary and unneeded
But was very annoying
It took a while
A long while
But you added value to my life
You still are annoying
Confusing, irritating and overbearing
But my brother, you get me
You need me
And I need you
