Eating is the key to success
When the going gets tough,
I have to eat on.
I’ve gotten used to it.

My brain is fried food
Let the grease slide off my back
Taco Bell’s got my tongue
This is the quiet before the fart storm
Butt wrenching pain in my bowels
I love food more than life itself

Pooped to death
Food heals all wounds
McDonald’s makes waste…
in my toilet
If the pants fit, wear it
But my clothes don’t fit anymore

The author's comments:

First Lady Michelle Obama brought to light the importance of the children of the United States eating nutritional meals, and combating childhood obesity. This inspired me to write a poem rebelling against her plan.
