spirits
Joyful spirits,
Entering my heart
Like the kids in the line at lunch time
But death separated us from each other
Remembering when we first met
And your mother would make you introduce me to the family,
And you would start laughing, and I
Would start talking to them.
The red paint on the ground made a bloody taste come to my mouth.
Police cars racing towards the scene
A bad smokey smell rifts alert.
My heart running away from my body
When it was announced that you were a dove in heaven.
Flashbacks came racing from the back of my brain.
Then my mind went black.
Why did you have to do?
Come back….
No answer,
No sound,
No more love….
