All's fair in freedom and love
Freer than a bird that’s always left his nest
Like a mother’s intuition she always knows best
Birds can fly highest, higher and high
And yet I can't escape the thoughts about this guy.

He’s sweet, and nice and full of spice
But can I trust that I will make it home at night?
I don’t think its freedom that has me stuck
I think it’s a guy's mind thinking that he’s about to buck

I’m sorry for the vulgar language that I use
But please don’t expect me to change my muse
Over a guy or maybe a dude, that lost control over my mouth
He’s screaming and hollering and ready to shout

But I’m wondering should I care
Because the way I was raised I wouldn’t dare
But I am being emancipated from the nest
So it’s me against the world standing chest to chest
