Step-Father

The first moment I heard that
My mom would remarry
I had little expectations
Hoping that man will make my mom happy
She worked hard to raise me
By herself
But also I felt sad and worried
What if she doesn’t take care of me anymore?
I was jealous
I can see myself as a villain
But I was wrong
I guess that demon box has gotten into me
My stepfather is great
He takes care of both of us
And I really appreciate him
For all he has done for both of us.
