Tainted Black Cloth
Am I being punished?
Am I not allowed to be happy?
Is fate ridiculing me, for having such pain in my heart?
For being a Tainted Black Cloth?
A cloth that was once as white as a pearl,
A cloth as precious as diamonds or gold?
As babies we’re born with such preciousness as a pearl white cloth,
But as we grow…
We become dyed with different colors,
Some aren’t lucky enough to have that pearl white left or to be dyed the colors of the rainbow,
Instead,
We become TAINTED with agony and anxiety,
Pain and suffering that we we’re faced with,
Some are not lucky to be dyed the colors of the rainbow,
Or to have a pearl white color,
Some are tainted completely black,
Like me,
We smile as if everything is ok,
But on the inside we scream for help,
Begging for someone to come rescue us…

I was not able to tell the person I love that I love them, because I feel tainted.
