Nothing To Do
I say, “I have nothing to do.”
However, in my mind, I know there is a lot I could do.
I could watch Netflix,
Play with my puppy dog Comet,
Or go forage for food in the fridge,
But there’s nothing I want to watch on Netflix right now,
Comet is sleeping,
And there’s no food in the fridge.
I am bored.
I have nothing to do.
I could sing my favorite tunes,
Watch some youtube,
Or listen to music.
Sadly my throat is tired,
I’m caught up with my weekly videos,
And my music needs a refresher.
I have absolutely nothing to do.
I could do my homework,
Play some videogames,
Or watch some reality TV,
But I am a natural procrastinator,
The videogames are in my basement,
And the shows are all just reruns.
I have nothing to do
All I have is boredom,
The time waster.
