Breathe
Looking at her pale skin being washed away
I cry for her to feel better
Breathe she tells me
Holding her soft hands age
I cry for her to feel younger
Breathe she tells me
As the nurse tells her more bad news
I cry for her to stay with us a little bit longer
Breathe she tells me
Seven years later she is still with me
She cries for feeling better
She cries because she feels younger
She cries because she is happy
Breathe I say to her.
Breathe,
Just breathe.
