Your Hand In Mine
Remember when we first met?
I bumped into you at a café.
You fell, but I caught you.
Your hand in mine.
Remember our first date?
We walked under the starlight
You and me
Only accompanied by the moon.
Your hand in mine.
Remember our first Valentine’s Day?
You showed up at my door
With roses and chocolate.
We danced,
Your hand in mine.
Remember that special day?
You took me to the café.
The place we met.
The place that started it all.
You got down on one knee,
And asked me to be your wife.
Your hand in mine.
Remember this day.
This day we stand before each other.
Remember it,
because from this day forward,
I will be with you always.
For better or worse,
For richer or poorer,
In sickness and in health,
Til death do us part.
My hand in yours.
