Mass Production
Some might say
The world is evolving
For the better.
We are transforming from an agrarian society
To a primarily industrial culture
Modernizing everything in our lives
Craftsmen are lost to assembly lines
Manual labor replaced by mass production
Everything becoming instantaneous and automated
But with every good advance comes
atrocious consequences.
Poisonous substances are released
Into our atmosphere,
Our home,
The only thing we know
The very foundation of our existence
Although these terrible affairs seem
To be ignored
Without an earth
We have nowhere else to live
But no one seems
To mind in exchange for
Cheap and no effort
