It Amazes Me

It amazes me how

a seven year old girl speaks the truth

but instead, we believe the forty year old man

beacuse she hasn't live and she doesn't know

and he has seen things she hasn't before

but no one is too young to have an opinion

or to speak their mind and take a stand

but in this world it seems

that people trust experience and ignore ignorance

when all we need is innocence
