The Thing
I ran
I ran as fast I could
I ran as far as I could
I knew the thing found me
All I did was run
I heard
I heard a weird noise
And then I tripped
Falling forward down in a ditch
Waiting
Screaming
As I see the the the
Things face
The thing that was chasing me
I was shocked, surprised, scared
To see what I saw
I saw me
I was chasing me
But I did not look quite like me
It looked like the me that I would hate to be
The me that is evil and angry
That cannot see the in good anything,
Was trying to destroy me
It jumped down into the ditch
And it spoke saying
“This is what you have become. An angry and evil person, but this you can’t admit to yourself. But why? You know you can’t run from me because I am you. So, be honest are you happy with you?”
It’s question scared me because it is true
I’m not happy with me if I'm angry with you
