We Are Flowers
At first we are seeds,
Small and young,
Too scared to think about what's to come.
We are fragle as we grow,
Needing love and attention,
From both friends and foes.
Soon we grow old,
Our petals begin to fall,
Our stems grow weak and we become less sweet.
But as we die,
We think back on our lives,
And are to know we have left seeds of life behind.

My 8th grade English teacher had us all write poems, I couldn't think of one on the spot. So I went home sat outside and looked at the beautiful scenary in front of me. Then I saw a small dandelions and BAM! It hit me, our lives are similar to the life of a flower!
