Alice and Misery.
My only two friends;
I liked Alice a little bit more though.
She would laugh and smile.
She made Misery irrelevant for a while!
Misery got angry.
And retaliated on Alice.
I told her to run and hide..
But Misery was a fast little fellow.
Misery caught up.
And got Alice hostage.
Alice got sad,
And Misery felt power.
Me and Alice both as his friend?
He decided to stay for a while.
Until the day that Misery dread,
Alice found light,
In the darkness Misery put in her head!
I asked her to show me.
And of course she did,
Together we shined,
Until Misery disappeared.
He left and never came back.
And for that,
I am happy.
I thank Alice everyday.
