I told you
my secrets,
I told you
my dreams.
Now all is wasted,
and you're just a
memory.
We laughed,
and
we fought.
We loved,
and
we cried.
But, all love has
a flame,
and darlin',
ours just died.
Your arms once
wide open
now shove
me away.
What did I do wrong?
I gave you everything.
But, all love has
a flame, even though
ours has died,
the light I once
followed,
I now bid
goodbye.
