Will you remember me?
When you get in the car and drive away,
and I'm left staring at nothing but the tail lights.
Will you remember me?
The laughs we shared,
The texts we sent,
The jokes we made,
The red creeping up to our faces,
The hellos, and the goodbyes,
The way we picked on each other.
I just hope that you will remember.
The memories.
My face.
My smile.
Because all of yours are etched in my heart.
For eternity.
