Republic VII
In the sea of shadows which few remained,
Those that did were restrained,
Forced to watch phantoms as they passed,
Until they were enlightened.
Then one obtained freedom from their reality,
Only to be hurt by the light shining brightly,
For their views to be opposed fervently,
And denied them as would any.
Though once they saw the reality’s meaning,
They could see the truths it was containing,
So hidden we cannot even rationalize this thinking,
Then his peers he would begin pitying.
