In Neutral
The mind has many emotions
But I find the most peace in neutral.
Like the gears on a Car,
Neutral is a place one can shift from,
Or remain stagnant, unmoving,
Reveling in self created power.
No driving forces.
Maximum power.
Through life,
we are told what we want,
not asked.
We are told we want
Happiness,
Good grades,
Money,
Fancy entities of which we do not need.
But that is not what I want.
For I want to be like the gears of the car.
Manual.
Not automatic.
Choosing choice,
Taking control of what I want and need
Which is to be
Neutral.
