No Way Out
Nothing feels the same anymore.
The once shimmering lights became dull stars.
Brown leaves falling onto the dirty ground.
The happy smiles turning into frowns.
Time is ticking.
Every minute it gets harder to breathe
I’m spinning in circles trying to find a way through.
I can feel the agony running all over my body.
Was I even going to make it?
My question was answered when the doctor walked in.
His face paled looking at the results.
The sympathetic smile told me everything.
Cancer was infinite.
There was no way out.
