Quest

Hop the great mountains and take a great leap; even though, it will be a big heap.
If you keep going success is guaranteed, will you fall? Indeed.

So with that being said, go right ahead and take a great leap,
It is your path to choose you really don’t have much to lose.

My, my this may be hard don’t be shy, you will come in just in time.
“I won’t,” he cried, “I will fail, I’m better off chasing my own tail.”
Yes, yes that maybe true, but I have chosen you, and I’ll give you a clue.
Don’t rush life, that will create quite a strife, just think twice and you’ll be alright.

“Alright, alright you gave me quite the fright, but I will try with all my might. I will open up the door, and give you a tour, but I must warn you I am poor.”
It’s ok I do not judge, for I never hold a grudge. I love you too much too let you stay this way so I will help you if I may.

Days passed He taught the boy, He caught his heart, and they never fought until(dot..dot…dot)
“You gave me no choice, you didn’t listen to my voice,”
That’s absurd, I heard your words.
“I felt tied, I think it’s time to say goodbye. It felt like a chase, now I need You to leave this place, so I can have my space."
Just remember you will always be in my embrace, and you will not be replaced.
“Without further ado, I must leave you to, whatever you have to do.”

The boy left like a theft for the ‘best’, and puffed out his chest.
He left with pride feeling unsatisfied, then his good nature died.

He danced in his sin, and didn’t feel sorry from within.
He was lost, but he did not care for the cost.
He lived in the moment, but was silently broken.
He felt abandoned as he wondered off stranded.

“What have I done, I thought that I won, and now I am shunned.”
He had nowhere to go, and he had nothing to own not even a bone.
“Will he accept me?” he wept.
“I shall go back and payback for talking smack,”
He ran back to the place that made him feel safe.

When he met Him he yelled, “I apologize, what I did was unwise. There is no way I can live, if you do not forgive what I did.”
I’ve waited for you, while you thought you were hated, oh, how I missed you,  as He kissed the boy’s head.
“Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?”
