Life
Life drifts on like a train on the tracks
Life goes through a tunnel
Lots of rough tunnels and dark places
But you can get out of the tunnels
When you try
Life is short
Not as short as corns life but short
Not as short as birds but still small
Life is loud like a train on the tracks
Life is messy like train tracks after a train goes by
Life is fun like the ride from city to city.

wrote this poem about the ride from new Hampshire to Chicago and watching the thousand or so miles of corn role by and thought to myself wow what if life was this short
