Big Papi,
13 years, 3 championships and 10 All-Star appearances,
A marvelous career,
Came to an end,
My eyes watering,
After a sweep to Tito and the Indians,
Stepping onto the field, lips trembling,
A hard fought game,
The moment got sadder and dejected as time went on,
An end of a season,
An end of a career,
An end of an era,
As the crowd roared, chanting his name,
Tears rolled down his face onto his tired jersey,
38,000 crying at Fenway, 30,000 crying on their couches,
1 man crying on the mound…
