The Place
The cold, salty spray striking my cheek,
Microscopic minerals of sand between my toes,
The luminous sun in the cloudless sky,
Size four footprints of tiny humans running throughout the landscape,
Vicious seagulls flying around desperately looking for food,
The Egyptian blue with immeasurable waters,
Whose height can become as tall as the boulder to my left,
Or as small as the seashells at my feet.
I take a deep breath and feel a grin come across my face,
Soon I realize exactly where I am.
