I killed her.
I killed a child
With my own two hands
And a toxic mouth.
Her innocence
Gone
In an instant.
It was my fault.
I take the blame.
It had been my words
Fouling the air
And her mind.
It had been my finger
Pointing accusingly
At an innocent.
I had been the one
Manipulating her
Until she thought
Everything was her fault.
It was not.
It was mine.
With jeering insults
And accusing pointers,
I murdered a girl.
I poisoned her from the inside,
Spreading lies that became truths
In her head.
I stole the light shining
In her beautiful eyes.
I destroyed the dreams
Of a potential heroine.
Even if it was she who committed suicide,
I knew I was charged with indirect murder.
